Sammanfattning

Syfte

Syftet med studien var att genom fyra fotbollsinstruktörer undersöka hur eventuell stress upplevs i deras yrkesroll i specialidrott vid NIU-skolor (nationella idrottsutbildningar).

Frågeställningar

1. Vilka krav upplevs det, av instruktören, finnas i dennes yrkesroll?

2. Hur upplever instruktören sig hantera de krav som ställs på denne i sin yrkesroll?

3. Hur upplever instruktören att dennes behov av stöd tillgodoses?

Metod

Vi har i studien valt att begränsa oss till fyra tränare som är verksamma i Stockholm. Vår ambition är inte att uttala oss för hela gruppen fotbollsinstruktörer vid NIU-skolor. Ambitionen är att beskriva några tränares inre tankar och känslor. En annan begränsning är att vi valt att enbart intervjua män i studien. I ramen för urvalet så finns tyvärr inga kvinnliga fotbollsinstruktörer verksamma. Vi valde att genomföra en kvalitativ studie i form av deskriptiva intervjuer med utgångspunkt i Krav-Kontroll-stödmodellen samt även utgå en del ifrån Carlsson & Lindahl (2012) struktur som de har haft i sitt examensarbete avseende huruvida handbollsinstruktörer som undervisar i specialidrott vid NIU-skolor upplever stress i sin yrkesroll.

Resultat

Samtliga instruktörer upplever krav i sin yrkesroll, dock mestadels inre krav ställda från individen själv. Tre av instruktörerna upplever sig ha kontroll på de ställda kraven samt ett gott stöd i sin yrkesroll. En instruktör upplever liten kontroll på de ställda kraven och saknar dessutom stöd i sin yrkesroll.

Slutsats

Vi kan se att tre av fyra fotbollsinstruktörer inte upplever att yrkesrollen är stressrelaterad. Dock kan vi utläsa att en fotbollsinstruktör upplever yrkesrollen som stressrelaterad.

Aim

The aim of the study was that by four football instructors examine how any stress experienced in their profession in special sports at NIU schools (national sports training).

Questions

1. What requirements it is felt, by the instructor, is in his profession?
2. How does the instructor to handle the demands made on him in his profession?
3. How does the instructor think his needs for support are met?

Method

We have in the study chose to limit ourselves to four coaches operating in Stockholm. Our ambition is not to express an opinion of the entire group soccer instructors at NIU schools. The aim is to describe some trainers inner thoughts and feelings. Another limitation is that we chose to only interview the men in the study. In the context of the sample, there is no female soccer instructors operate. We chose to conduct a qualitative study in the form of descriptive interviews based on demand-control-supportmodel and even based some from Carlsson & Lindahl (2012) structure as they have had in their thesis regarding whether handball instructors who teach in special sports at NIU schools are experiencing stress in their professional capacity.

Results

All instructors are experiencing demands in their professional capacity, but mostly internal demands made by the individual himself. Three of the instructors feel they have control on the specified requirements and a good support in their professional capacity. One instructor perceives little control on the specified requirements and also lack support in his professional capacity.

Conclusions

We can see that three of the four football instructors do not feel that the professional role is stress-related. However, we can deduce that one football instructor experience his professional role as stress-related.
