Digital media and learning : A qualitative study on teachers experiences of digital media in school linked to students learning (English)
Abstract [en]

Purpose and research questions: The purpose of the study is to investigate how digitization has affected the learning of students from a teacher’s perspective and their experiences. The study examines pros and cons as well opportunities and challenges with digital media.

- How does digital media affect student learning according to teachers?

- How do teachers perceive/describe their opportunity for continuing education with digital media?

Method: The method includes qualitative interviews with teachers, which provide insights into the use of digital media in teaching and its impact on student learning. 

Results: The results demonstrate the effectiveness of digital tools in education and highlight their role in improving engagement and learning effectiveness. The study emphasizes the importance of strategic implementation of digital media in the education sector and suggests continuous development of digital competence among teachers. 

Conclusion: The conclusion underlines the transformative potential of digital media in modern teaching methods, where both benefits and challenges are balanced

Syfte och frågeställningar: Syftet med studien är att undersöka hur digitaliseringen har påverkat inlärningen hos elever utifrån ett lärarperspektiv och deras upplevelser och erfarenheter. Studien undersöker för och nackdelar samt möjligheter och utmaningar med digitala medier -

- Hur påverkar digitala medier inlärningen hos elever enligt lärare?

- Hur upplever/beskriver lärare sin möjlighet till fortbildning av digitala medier?

Metod: Metoden innefattar kvalitativa intervjuer med 2 lärare, som ger insikter i användningen av digitala medier i undervisningen och dess påverkan på elevers lärande.

Resultat: Resultaten visar på ett betydande beroende av digitala medier i utbildningen och lyfter fram deras roll i att förbättra engagemang och lärandeeffektivitet. Studien betonar vikten av strategisk implementering av digitala medier i utbildningssektorn och föreslår kontinuerlig utveckling av digital kompetens bland lärare.

Slutsats: Slutsatsen understryker digitala mediers transformerande potential i moderna undervisningsmetoder, där både fördelar och nackdelar balanseras
